Set in beautiful surroundings and comprises more than 200 beautiful statue, Vigeland Park near the Oslo celebrates the work of one of the most talented Norwegian artist Gustav Vigeland. This unique garden statue is the largest of its kind in the work of an artist to display.

Park, located 3 km northwest of the center of Oslo, has an area of 80 hectares, with the works of Gustav Vigeland’s life gives. Basic was designed by Vigeland park and completed between 1939 and 1949. Musemu Vigeland park is also in the works of Gustav Vigeland together with temporary exhibitions.

Gustav Vigeland was born in Norway in 1869 into a family of craftsmen. He showed artistic talent at an early age and was sent to Oslo for his study. After a series of setbacks, he returned to Oslo, where in 1888 he found a sponsor in Bryunjulf Bergslien sculptor. Between 1891 and 1896, he went abroad, where he was influenced by the work of Rodin sculptures and Renaissance. His first exhibition in 1894 and Norway in 1896 met with critical praise.
